Life has become less of a gruelling journey and more of an exciting adventure of discovery

I was first introduced to Swami Tadananda in Fiji and later became connected with the Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre in Auckland. What initially drew me was a deep curiosity about the mind and the fundamental question, "Who am I?" I wanted to understand why the mind behaves as it does, why it causes so much suffering, and whether there was a way to work with it rather than be controlled by it.

Over the years, studying Vedantic wisdom, engaging in countless discussions with Swamiji, and attending retreats have profoundly transformed my outlook on life. My external circumstances have not necessarily become easier, but my response to them has changed. I have found greater steadiness, clarity, and the ability to pause before reacting. Challenges that once felt overwhelming are now opportunities for growth.

Life has become less of a gruelling journey of struggles but more of an exciting adventure of discovery.

The greatest gift these teachings have given me is the understanding that studying the mind is not merely a philosophical pursuit—it is deeply practical. It influences every aspect of daily life: how we respond to stress, navigate relationships, face uncertainty, and discover lasting peace within ourselves.

I am deeply grateful to Swami Tadananda and the Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre for these invaluable teachings. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone with even the slightest curiosity to explore them. They have a remarkable way of quietly transforming your life, nurturing patience, inner strength, and a deeper sense of peace.
