Redwood Tree Planting Fundraiser
We are planting 25 acres of forest at the entrance of the Vedanta Retreat Centre to increase the forest at our Retreat Centre to 75 acres. Total surrounding forest will become 175 acres.
Along with native trees the forest will include 1000 Redwood trees. The trees will be planted in three rows along the main driveway and boundary covering a distance of approximately 1 km. Redwood trees are known for their strength, longevity, and grandeur, symbolising endurance and spiritual growth. Over time this will create a majestic Redwood avenue, enhancing the natural beauty, serenity, and spiritual atmosphere of the Ashrama.
This is a legacy we are setting up for us and future generations to enjoy.
