About
Every parent wants a child who is strong, kind and steady enough to meet whatever life brings. Yet children today are growing up in a fast, crowded and often fragmented world, and many parents feel stretched, unsure and alone. This course offers a quieter place to pause, to see your child more clearly, and to find your own way forward. Ritam Wellness for Parents unfolds as a warm, practical conversation. A circle of parents and grandparents, from many backgrounds and family shapes, bring real situations from home: bedtime battles, screens, worry, exam stress, a teenager who has gone quiet, a young adult finding their feet. Together with Swamiji, they explore what is really going on, inside the child and inside the parent. Swamiji offers perspectives drawn from the timeless wisdom of Yoga and Vedanta, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gītā and the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, alongside what modern research has learned. These are offered as suggestions, never rules. You are the expert on your own child, and you design the small steps that fit your family. Along the way you will learn simple practices to steady your own mind, including short guided meditations, because a calmer parent is one of the greatest gifts a child can receive. The course is for anyone who helps to raise a young person, from birth to about twenty-four, of any faith or none. No background in science or scripture is needed. It is general education for family wellbeing, and not a substitute for professional care.
